Hi, I’m Trudy.
I am a lesson design and explicit instruction coach, and the founder of Brolga Education.
In 2015, I trained in Explicit Direct Instruction with John Hollingsworth before teaching this pedagogical approach in Cape York, Queensland for 4 years. I then pivoted into various curriculum writing roles and have now written and delivered more than 500 explicit teaching lessons and coached 45+ teachers on how to implement explicit teaching in their own classrooms.
